Erika and Will met in the summer of 2005 at the University of Texas at San Antonio's freshmen orientation. While it was "Like at first sight" they did not start dating until December 5th of 2008. From that point on they remained inseparable, living together, making the same friends and growing into each other’s best friends while building a strong relationship based in love and friendship.
In December of 2010, their second anniversary, William proposed to Erika, attaching the engagement ring onto the leash of their first dog, Minion.
